Experience straighter teeth, enhanced bite, and confident smiles with braces, SureSmile or Invisalign.

Your Journey to a Confident, Healthy Smile Starts Here

At K Smiles Dental Care, we believe that straight teeth don’t just enhance your smile—they contribute to better oral health and overall confidence. Whether you’re considering Invisalign, traditional braces, or early orthodontic treatment for your child, we make the process seamless, informative, and comfortable.

How We Begin: Your Personalized Orthodontic Assessment

Your journey starts with a complimentary digital scan and photos. This allows us to assess your current bite, tooth alignment, and overall oral health. After the scan, we schedule a treatment consultation where we show you a digital preview of your expected results, discuss treatment timelines, and confirm the cost based on your treatment complexity and length.

A Healthy Foundation for Orthodontic Success

Before starting orthodontic treatment, it’s essential to ensure your teeth and gums are in optimal health. Cavities and gum disease can weaken teeth, making orthodontic treatment less effective. If you already have a dentist, we encourage you to have a thorough dental check-up and address any issues before starting. If you don’t have a dentist, we’d love to welcome you to our dental family! Our team will take X-rays and perform an exam to ensure you have a strong and healthy bite before proceeding.

Invisalign or SureSmile Clear Aligners: Discreet, Comfortable, and Effective

By choosing Invisalign or SureSmile, you embark on a journey to achieve not just straighter teeth but also an enhanced bite, improving your overall oral health and confidence. Using a series of clear, removable aligners, Invisalign gradually moves your teeth into the ideal position without the need for metal brackets or wires.

Why choose Invisalign or SureSmile?

  • Virtually invisible—no one has to know you’re wearing them.
  • Removable—enjoy your favorite foods and maintain easy oral hygiene.
  • Comfortable—custom-designed for a precise fit.
  • Faster results compared to traditional braces in some cases.

Traditional Braces: Reliable and Versatile

Braces gently guide teeth into proper alignment, correcting issues like crowding, spacing, or misalignment while also enhancing your overall bite. Our dental team will offer their experienced recommendation based on your specific needs to ensure a straighter, healthier smile.

Braces offer:

  • Precise and controlled movement of teeth.
  • Effective treatment for severe misalignment and bite issues.
  • Affordable options with flexible payment plans.
  • Clear or tooth-colored ceramic brackets for a more discreet look.

Phase 1 Orthodontics: Setting the Foundation for a Perfect Smile

For younger patients, Phase 1 orthodontics, also known as early or interceptive orthodontic treatment, is a proactive approach to addressing orthodontic issues in children before all of their permanent teeth have erupted. This phase typically begins around ages 7 to 10 when a child still has a mix of baby and permanent teeth.

Goals of Phase 1 Orthodontic Treatment:

  • Correcting bite problems such as crossbites, underbites, or overbites.
  • Guiding the proper eruption of permanent teeth to prevent crowding or misalignment.
  • Creating space for crowded teeth to come in properly.
  • Addressing habits like thumb sucking or tongue thrusting that may affect dental development.
  • Improving facial symmetry and jaw growth.

Phase 1 treatment often involves the use of orthodontic appliances such as braces, expanders, or space maintainers. It typically lasts 6 to 18 months, followed by a rest period where the child's growth and dental development are monitored. After the primary goals of Phase 1 treatment are achieved, Phase 2 treatment—comprehensive orthodontic care with braces or aligners—may be recommended once all permanent teeth have erupted.

Phase 2 Orthodontic Treatment: Braces or Clear Aligners

For those needing further orthodontic treatment, Phase 2 includes either traditional braces or clear aligners like Invisalign or SureSmile. The most suitable option depends on the severity of the orthodontic issue, the patient's age, lifestyle preferences, and treatment goals.

Options include:

  • Traditional Braces: Metal brackets and wires that are adjusted gradually to move the teeth into the desired position—highly effective for complex cases.
  • Clear Aligners: Custom-made, removable trays that gently move the teeth while being virtually invisible, making them a preferred option for adults and teenagers.

SureSmile: A Step-by-Step Guide to Your New Smile

Step 1: Initial Appointment

It all starts with a digital scan—no messy impressions needed! Your doctor will take high-quality photos and a digital scan of your teeth to begin the process.

We use a Digital scanner to take accurate measurements of your smile

Step 2: Say Hello to Your New Smile

Within minutes of taking the scan, your doctor may be able to show you a customized 3D visualization of your potential results using the SureSmile™ Simulator. This allows you to preview your transformed smile and discuss your aesthetic and oral health goals in the same appointment.

In minutes we can show you how your new smile will look and discuss the details of the treatment

Step 3: Customized Treatment Plan

Your doctor collaborates with SureSmile® Digital Lab experts to create a customized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. You can expect to receive your clear aligners in 2-4 weeks after your initial appointment.

Step 4: Start Treatment

When your aligners are ready, you’ll return to the clinic to receive your patient welcome kit, SureSmile® Clear Aligners, and the SureSmile® VPro™ High-Frequency Device.

  • Wear your aligners for the prescribed time (usually two weeks per set).
  • Use the SureSmile® VPro™ device for 5 minutes daily—it delivers gentle vibrations that may reduce discomfort and shorten treatment time.

Step 5: Ongoing Check-ins

Throughout your treatment, you’ll have regular check-ins with your doctor every 6-8 weeks to monitor your progress and ensure your teeth are moving as planned.

On-going check-ins at our office to ensure your treatment is going on track towards the best smile.

Step 6: Maintaining Your Beautiful Smile

Once your treatment is complete, you’ll receive a SureSmile™ Whitening Kit to give your new smile an extra sparkle. To keep your results long-term, your doctor will provide a SureSmile® Retainer and instructions on how to wear it.
